After graduating, I returned to my school as a Technical Teaching Assistant, managing the biofabrication studio and advising students. Teaching others how to use lab equipment and helping them bring their visions to life allowed me to deeply appreciate a sense of community and collaboration within the field.
Art students unfamiliar with lab equipment felt reluctant to join, and I have endeavored to make the lab a safe space for people who want to learn and feel passionate about biodesign.

Leading the students to the 2023 Biodesign Challenge was an eye-opening experience. Seeing their hard work recognized as Overall Winner was incredibly rewarding and gave me a sense that my future truly had dimension.
